Information We Collect

  • Account information such as name, email address, phone number, role, institute details, and login credentials.
  • Classroom information such as batches, attendance, timetable entries, assignments, quizzes, fee records, announcements, chat messages, and learning materials.
  • Device and app information such as device type, browser or WebView details, IP address, crash logs, and basic usage data needed to operate and secure the service.
  • Live class information needed to join Jitsi-powered video classes, including meeting room identifiers, participant status, and audio/video permission state.

How We Use Information

  • To provide dashboards for admins, teachers, students, and parents.
  • To run live classes, attendance, assignments, quizzes, fee tracking, reports, notifications, and support.
  • To protect accounts, prevent misuse, debug issues, improve reliability, and maintain platform security.
  • To send service messages such as class reminders, fee reminders, announcements, password reset messages, and support responses.

App Permissions

  • Camera and microphone permissions are used only when a user joins or participates in a live class.
  • Notification permission is used to send class reminders, announcements, assignment updates, and account-related alerts.
  • Internet access is required for login, dashboards, live classes, messages, and syncing institute data.
  • Bluetooth audio permissions may be used by Android for audio devices during live classes.

Children and Student Data

  • Meet to Manage is intended for educational institutes, teachers, students, and parents. Student accounts may be created or managed by an institute or authorised staff.
  • We process student data only to provide educational and institute management features. Institutes are responsible for obtaining any consent required by local law before adding student or parent data.
  • Parents, students, or institutes can contact us to request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data.

Sharing and Third Parties

  • We do not sell personal information.
  • We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate the platform, such as hosting, analytics, notifications, authentication, storage, email delivery, and video classroom infrastructure.
  • Live classes may use Jitsi or institute-configured video infrastructure. Data handled by those systems is used to provide the class experience.
  • We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, safety obligations, or to protect the rights and security of users and the platform.

Data Retention and Deletion

  • We retain account and institute data while the account or institute subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards for backup, legal, billing, security, and support purposes.
  • To request deletion, correction, or export of your data, email sales@techmisai.com with your institute name, account email, and request details.
  • Some records may need to be retained where required by law, dispute resolution, security investigations, or legitimate business record keeping.

Security

  • We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect personal information.
  • No internet-based service can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so users should keep passwords private and report suspected misuse promptly.

  • We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, legal requirements, or our practices change.
